Barcelona are willing to offer Sergino Dest as part of a deal to land Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

The Spanish giants are determined to land a marquee signing this summer with reports suggesting that the Polish superstar would be open to a move to the Nou Camp.

Spanish publication Sport have reported that Lewandowski ‘will do everything’ to join Barcelona and that the Spanish side have found a potential solution in Dest.

Bayern Munich are keen on the American right-back and Barcelona could use him in a potential swap deal.

Lewandowski is contracted at Bayern Munich until 2023 and it is believed he is valued around the region of £54m.

The 33-year-old is in his eighth season at Bayern Munich in which he has scored 339 goals in 367 appearances.

However, it has been reported by the Mirror that Barcelona could look to Alexandre Lacazette if they are unable to sign Lewandowski.

The Arsenal striker has just three months left on his contract and a move would see him reunite with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the Nou Camp.

Aubameyang left the Gunners by mutual consent back in January and has made a bright start to life at the Catalan giants by scoring nine goals in 12 appearances.

It was previously reported that Lewandowski is behind Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and Liverpool star Mo Salah in Barcelona’s pecking list.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta told radio station RAC 1, in regards to Haaland: ‘He would have to express his desire to come to Barça and, for the moment, he hasn’t. Either they adapt to the conditions or I see it as very far away.’

A move for Salah is also described to be ‘very complicated’ with reports in the last few days suggesting he could sign a new deal with the Reds.

Barcelona’s financial situation is still said to be perilous and it is unclear if they could afford Salah this summer even with him out of contract next year.

Laporta, often bullish about the club’s financial might, has admitted that they still need to reduce negative net worth and cut losses.
