Chicken heiress Jessica Ingham is selling her ‘pre-loved’ designer wardrobe on Instagram (even though she’s hardly strapped for cash!)

She may be the heiress to a multimillion-dollar food-manufacturing fortune.

But Jessica Ingham is determined to earn her own income – even if that means selling off items from her flashy designer wardrobe.

The Ingham’s Chicken heiress last week created an Instagram account for her new enterprise called ‘Jess Ingham Wardrobe’.

In a post on Instagram Stories at the time, she explained she would be selling pre-loved pieces from her enviable wardrobe.

‘I’ve created an Instagram page to start selling pieces from my wardrobe and I will start posting pictures in the coming weeks,’ she explained.

‘Sizing will be six to 10. Please direct message @jessinghamwardrobe for purchases.’

Jessica then laid out the conditions of purchase.

‘All items are sold on a final basis with NO RETURNS. Once a piece is sold, the post will be deleted,’ she added.

‘If an item isn’t paid for in the first hour, it will be sold to the next person. Free standard shipping in Australia.’  

She is yet to post any photos of the items up for sale, but her page has nonetheless amassed more than 1,000 followers as of Monday.

Jessica is the granddaughter of businessman Jack Ingham, part of the Ingham chicken empire which sold for about $1billion in 2013.

Jack and his brother Bob Ingham established their poultry-breeding business in 1953, and by the 1970s had built Ingham’s into the biggest chicken and turkey operation in Australia.

Bob and Jack earned a spot on The Australian Financial Review’s first-ever Rich List in 1983 with a combined wealth of $150million.
