MAFS Australia: Editing fail as Daniel Holmes’ outburst is never explained

Married At First Sight fans are stunned by Daniel Holmes’ bizarre outburst at the dinner party that was NEVER explained: Here’s what he really said that made producers furious

Married At First Sight fans have called out a bizarre editing fail that occurred during Sunday’s reunion dinner party.

About halfway through the episode, Daniel Holmes stood up and launched into a rant at the table, before the show abruptly cut to an ad break.

But when the program resumed minutes later, viewers found themselves watching an unrelated scene featuring Domenica Calarco and Jack Millar.

What happened? Married At First Sight viewers have called out a bizarre editing fail that occurred during Sunday’s dinner party. About halfway through the episode, Daniel Holmes (pictured) stood up and launched into a rant at the table, before the show cut to an ad break

There was no mention of Daniel’s outburst and things continued as normal, almost like his rant had never happened.

The bizarre sequence of events began with the personal trainer, 31, having an argument with rival groom Dion Giannarelli.

Fans will remember Daniel previously had an affair with Dion’s ‘wife’ Carolina Santos, in one of the biggest scandals of the season.

He yelled out, ‘You’re all fake!’, before the show went to a commercial break.

However, this scene was dropped completely after the adverts without any explanation, leading to much confusion on Twitter.

‘How you gonna cut to the ad with Daniel about to stand up and go off and then come back from ad with something completely different?’ one fan said of the apparent editing fail.

‘What did Daniel say when they cut to ad?’ another asked.

‘I’d love to see the footage that was cut as clearly Daniel and Carolina think they are a bigger part of the show than they actually are,’ a third tweeted.

But it turns out there was a good reason for editing out Daniel’s rant.

Daily Mail Australia understands he accused several of his co-stars of speaking to journalists and collaborating with paparazzi – something MAFS producers probably wouldn’t want to draw attention to.

Daniel even mentioned Daily Mail reporter Ali Daher by name as he called out the other cast members for leaking stories and staging photo ops.

Married At First Sight continues Monday at 7:30pm on Channel Nine and 9Now
