Despite arriving at the reunion hand in hand with Cody Bromley, Daily Mail Australia can reveal the couple parted ways after filming Monday’s episode.

Photos taken in the early hours of January 14 show Selina’s co-stars rushing to her side after her ‘husband’ announced their split in front of the experts.

After producers called a break, Brent Vitiello rushed over to give the 33-year-old hairdresser a hug.

Brent and Selina were seen chatting for a few moments before a crew member brought over a bottle of water. 

At one stage, Selin Mengu and Jack Millar were also seen trying to console Selina.

According to a source, the news shocked the entire MAFS cast, including Selina who wasn’t aware Cody, 31, was going to announce the news on the couch.

‘It was a surprise to everyone,’ the insider told Daily Mail Australia.

‘They looked so happy together and never looked stronger.’

It comes after Selina told Cody he made her feel insecure and constantly question herself, but was nonetheless willing to give him another chance. 

‘I never thought coming onto this experiment, I’d cry so much and have so many moments where I felt so alone [even] when you were right there, by my side,’ she said during their final vows, which were filmed in early December.

‘I find you hot and cold, warm one day and then distant the next, and I’m constantly stuck in a cycle of confusion and unease.’

Selina continued: ‘Being with you has taught me so much about myself and truly made me a better, stronger, more resilient person.
