Sofia Richie keeps casual in button-up shirt and jeans during LA shopping trip… after engagement

Sofia Richie was spotted while going on a shopping trip in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon.

The 23-year-old social media personality appeared to be enjoying her outing as she strolled around the city’s trendy Melrose district and enjoyed the company of her friends.

The influencer’s outing comes just a few weeks after she announced that she had become engaged to her boyfriend of just over one year, Elliot Grainge.

Richie wore a white t-shirt underneath a light yellow button-up shirt during her outing.

The model also sported a slim-fitting set of blue jeans and a pair of open-toed sandals.

The daughter of Lionel Richie accessorized with a stylish pair of sunglasses and kept a small purse slung over her right shoulder.

Her gorgeous blonde hair fell onto her shoulders and chest as she made the most of her day on the town.

Richie and Grainge were initially linked in March of last year, when she shared a shot of them spending time together to her Instagram account.

The social media powerhouse was previously in a relationship with Scott Disick, which started in 2017.

The pair went Instagram official that September and remained together through 2018 and 2019.

However, the pair split up for the first time in May of 2020, and they separated for a final time that August.

Richie eventually moved on with Grainge, and they went Instagram official last April.

The two remained together for all of 2021, and she frequently shared affectionate snaps that had been taken with her boyfriend to her account. 

The influencer revealed that they had become engaged last month, and she posted a set of photos of her now-fiance’s proposal to her Instagram.

She also left a short message in the post’s caption that read: ‘Forever isn’t long enough.’

Richie’s father recently told Access that Grainge was quite nervous when he asked if he could marry his daughter.

‘I thought he was going to pass out, but he survived it. I was going to rib him a little bit, but I didn’t want to play. He was going to faint,’ he recalled.

The hitmaker also expressed that he approved of his daughter’s fiance and noted that his soon-to-be son-in-law had been in his life for several years. 

‘I love Elliot. I’ve known him since he was 12. How about that? So it’s one of those things where I don’t have to go back and check out the kid. I know who he is,’ he said.
