Shanna Moakler auctions off her engagement ring from ex-husband Travis Barker for $96,500… even though she hoped to get $120K
Shanna Moakler has parted ways with one of her last connections to her marriage to Travis Barker by selling the diamond engagement ring he gave her.
The 47-year-old model auctioned off the ring to the highest bidder via Worthy.com, with the winner clinching the deal for $96,500.
Although the sale price was considerably higher than the starting bid of $51,000, it fell far short of her hopes for a sale in the $120,000–160,000 range.

Shanna sounded conflicted about the auction when speaking with Us Weekly.
‘Nobody expects a happy marriage to end… and nobody ever hopes to let go of sentimental and valuable things,’ she said.
‘I wanted to thank Worthy.com for making the most out of a beautiful time in my life. I hope the highest bidder truly loves the piece as much as I did,’ she continued. ‘It was a smooth and easy process … Looking forward to the future!’
Shanna was married to Travis, 46, from 2004 to 2008, and they share two children, 18-year-old Landon Barker and 16-year-old Alabama Barker. She also has a daughter — Atiana De La Hoya, 23 — with boxer Oscar De La Hoya, whom Travis considers one of his own children and has maintained a strong relationship with even after the divorce.

Shanna and Travis’ tumultuous relationship took a turn when he filed for divorce in 2006, but the couple appeared to have reconciled by the following year, only to finalize their divorce in 2008.
The blond beauty previously told Us Weekly that she was hoping for considerably more for the ring, based upon its value.
‘I’m hoping it sells for $120K,’ she said when it first went up on the auction block, adding that it was ‘worth about $160K.’
She also clarified that the sale wasn’t spurred on by Travis recently nuptials in Portofino, Italy, to Kourtney Kardashian (which was their third wedding ceremony).
‘I’m sure people would assume that [it’s related to the wedding], but I simply wanted to find a proper seller…’ she said.

Shanna revealed to the publication earlier in the month that she was ‘hoping’ to reunite with her ex-boyfriend Matthew Rondeau.
In a slur-filled misogynistic rant posted to social media in February, Rondeau accused his ex of cheating on him while claiming he would never get back together with him.
The video foreshadowed his February 24 arrest for felony domestic violence, after was was accused of physically abusing the Celebrity Big Brother star.
