Chrissie’s post comes after she received a rather crude compliment from comedian Jimmy Carr while interviewing him on The Project on Tuesday night.

The panel was speaking to the funnyman about his upcoming Australian tour when Jimmy jokingly referred to Chrissie as a ‘MILF’ after hearing her husky voice.

She was still struggling to speak after a long night of partying at the TV Week Logie Awards on Sunday.

‘Speaking of MILFs, though, what is the matter with her voice?’ Jimmy said.

‘MILF’ is an acronym for ‘Mother I’d Like to F**k’.

He continued: ‘Because it sounds like The Project are doing a séance and that is a voice from the other side.’

Bursting into laughter, Chrissie admitted she did sound like she was ‘possessed’, adding: ‘I can’t believe I’m talking to you like this!’

She went on to ask Jimmy for advice on how to recover her voice, prompting the comedian to joke that she should start a 12-step program to stop drinking.

‘Booze wasn’t involved!’ Chrissie replied.
