Tammy Hembrow shares graphic footage of birth to daughter Posy

Tammy Hembrow has shared graphic footage giving birth to her newborn daughter Posy.

The fitness influencer, 28, posted a raw 10-minute video to her YouTube channel on Tuesday and issued a trigger warning to her fans, writing: ‘This is my real and raw experience with a lot of screaming.’

In the video, Tammy can be seen being supported by her sisters Amy and Emilee as well as her fiancé Matt Poole after arriving to the hospital. 

She was then showered down by Amy, while leaning onto Matt screaming in pain.

Moments later, Tammy’s sisters attached a TENS machine – designed to assist with pain – to her back. 

After 30 minutes, Tammy started pushing out her newborn daughter surrounded by her family.

Tammy’s footage also captures her newborn’s umbilical cord being cut, along with the moment nurses step in to clean her precious child. 

Tammy, who shares two older children with her ex Reece Hawkins, announced last week she’d given birth to a ‘perfect little girl’.

‘The absolute hardest yet most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. An unmedicated VBA2C [vaginal birth after two C-sections]. No words,’ Tammy wrote in her caption.

‘Birth story to come. For now just resting in my love bubble with my perfect little girl wow,’ she added.

Matt also shared the exciting news to his Instagram page, writing: ‘Our little girl, perfect in every way.

‘Mum was incredible and so strong. It’s been a roller coaster twenty four hours but welcoming her into the world has made everything better’.

‘She’s beautiful, 12 fingers and all,’ he added, referring to his daughter’s rare mutation called polydactylism.

Tammy was also born with 12 fingers, and two removed shortly after she was born.

Tammy announced she was expecting her first child with her Ironman fiancé Matt in December, just two weeks after their engagement.
