She said that she was hospitalized the same evening that an episode of the Hulu show depicted her character Esther Keyes awaken in a hospital bed.

In a montage of clips edited together, she was seen both in the hospital as well as a number of images in which she donned a variety of styles.

She said that it’s been a month since her hospital stint at her spinal surgeon at Cedars-Sinai ‘literally changed [her] life.’

Grace said that ‘social media only reflects what we want people to know-often we don’t see the ugly, hard, less-flattering sides of a person and their life.’

She said that it has been easier for her to ‘hide [her] struggles and insecurities and maybe write about them in songs, but that didn’t fix them.’
