Harry Styles purchases a ‘spectacular’ £3.8million Grade II listed building in Maidstone – and plans to transform it into a nursery

Harry Styles purchased a £3.8million Grade II listed building last year in Maidstone and plans are now in place to transform it into a nursery for toddlers.

The As If Was singer, 29, bought the ‘spectacular’ building in December which has been ‘used as offices’ making it easier to convert into a nursery.

Following buying the property, the three-time Grammy Award winner is expected to receive a fortune each year as a landlord for his new business.

Unfortunately for the One Direction star’s fans they are unlikely to see the hitmaker around the property.

A source told The Sun: ‘The building is absolutely spectacular, so keeping it as a home would be what most people would want. But it has most recently been used as an office so it is easier to convert it into something else.

‘It is a savvy investment for Harry, who can now sit back and watch the money roll in as the landlord.

‘Unfortunately, any fans of his music who attend, or their parents, are unlikely to see him there. But it’s still a cool connection to one of music’s biggest stars.’

Harry is reportedly worth £150 million.

His third and most recent studio album, Harry’s House, was the UK’s biggest-selling record of 2022.

He has seen huge success in his worldwide Love On Tour, where he performed in the United States, Australia and the UK.

He is estimated to have raked in £7 million alone in the last year thanks to the sold-out tour.

His business Erskine Touring LTD has £12,663,01million in the bank – up from £5.7million last year.

The company brought in just shy of £16million – £3.3million of which was owed to creditors.

It comes as rumours around who will be the new James Bond continue to circulate, it has been revealed that Harry may be the next artist to sing the upcoming film’s theme tune.

The Watermelon Sugar singer has now emerged as the bookies favourite sing the next James Bond theme tune ahead of both Ed Sheeran and Elton John.

‘And this is not forgetting Ed Sheeran, whose music has already appeared in the likes of The Hobbit, at 8/1 and the ever-popular Lewis Capaldi, following closely behind Styles in the market at 10/1.’
