Garrett Hedlund dons protective face shield on the set of Modern Love in NY… in first public sighting after it was revealed he sought treatment after being arrested for DUI earlier this year
He’s expecting his first child with actress Emma Roberts in the next few weeks.
And on Wednesday Garrett Hedlund was spotted on the set of Amazon Prime’s romantic comedy anthology series Modern Love in Schenectady, New York, which is in eastern part of the state near the capital of Albany.
It’s the first time the actor’s been seen out on public since word got out of his two DUI arrests earlier this year.

Hedlund, 36, appeared to already be dressed for his shoot, from the looks of the shoulder-length wig he was wearing as he made his way behind-the-scenes.
Another noticeable part of his ensemble: the face shield that covered the areas from his eyes to below his neck. The plastic covering is likely part of the health and safety protocols put in place amid the still raging COVID-19 pandemic.
His outfit also included military-green pants, a black sweatshirt, a long black jacket that came down to just above his knees and brown boots.

The Tron star was arrested on January 24 after his blood level tested at .36 percent, which is four times the legal limit, He subsequently pleaded no contest to one count and was found guilty while a second DUI charge was dismissed, according to People.
Hedlund was eventually sentenced to a 36-month probation and three days of community service for one of the counts.

Roberts went public with the couple’s pregnancy news in late August by sharing some photos of herself and Hedlund sitting side by side as she cupped her baby bump.

The couple had been friends for a number of years before they started dating in March 2019.
