Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson LEAVES the girl band as she takes an ‘extended period of time away’ due to ‘private medical reasons’
Jesy Nelson has decided to temporarily leave Little Mix.
The singer, 29, is taking an ‘extended break’ from the girl band due to a ‘private medical reason’, after she recently missed hosting the MTV EMAs and an appearance on her band’s show, The Seach.
A representative for the band said: ‘Jesy is having extended time off from Little Mix for private medical reasons.’
‘We will not be issuing any further comment currently and ask media to please respect her privacy at this time.’
Jesy has been a member of the girl band since their formation on the X-Factor in 2011, alongside Perrie Edwards, 26, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 29, and Jade Thirlwall, 27.
