A glaring editing fail on Tuesday’s episode of Married At First Sight left viewers in Queensland and South Australia scratching their heads.
The show’s post-production team were seemingly unable to recognise the difference between Adelaide and the Gold Coast.
Scenic shots of Surfers Paradise appeared on screen to introduce Elizabeth Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus’ hometown date in the SA capital.

There was a shot of the Gold Coast skyline, followed by footage of beachgoers walking past the famous Surfers Paradise sign on the Esplanade.
Despite this, the text on screen read: ‘Elizabeth and Seb. Adelaide, SA.’
The show then cut to Elizabeth and Seb’s date at Ice ArenA in Thebarton, an inner-western suburb of Adelaide, where the couple spent the afternoon ice skating.

After the blunder was pointed out by Instagram fan account MAFS Funny, many viewers slammed the show.
‘Looks to be right on track with the rest of this trainwreck season,’ one person commented.
‘Yeah, I live in Adelaide and I was like, “Ahhhh nope,”‘ another fan wrote, while a third added: ‘Haha Surfers Paradise in Adelaide.’
