Fans are urging Jake Paul to stay in boxing after seeing footage of the YouTuber-turned-fighter practising leg kicks ahead of a potential MMA bout.

Paul, 24, has won all five of his professional contests since venturing into boxing, recently knocking out former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in brutal fashion.

But in recent months he has also flirted with the possibility of competing in MMA, telling Dana White that he is prepared enter the Octagon for a clash with Jorge Masvidal if the UFC President meets a list of challenges, including to increase fighter pay.

However, Paul is now being advised to stick to the boxing ring after sharing a clip of his leg kicks in training last week.

Fans were not impressed with the American’s technique, insisting he will be knocked out if he steps foot in the MMA world.

One wrote: ‘Stay in boxing dude lots of money for you there and you won’t get your wig spilt open and choked unconscious’.

Another said: ‘You’d get knocked out with a left hook or straight right dropping them hands like that’.

A third put: ‘lmao can barely hear the kick’.

While one simply said: ‘Lmao noooo stay at boxing bruh.’ 

Despite that advice, MMA Mania are reporting that Paul is in talks with the Professional Fighters League over a potential MMA debut later this year.

Not everyone was unimpressed with his leg kicks, nevertheless.

Professional MMA fighter Brendan Loughnane chipped in with praise for Paul by writing: ‘Not a bad kick tbf’.

UFC star Derek Brunson also commented: ‘Not bad son!’
