Caprice Bourret steps out in a 70s inspired sequined mini-dress as she joins glamorous Jess Wright at book launch… after quitting Dancing On Ice

She’s been focusing on self-care since quitting Dancing On Ice earlier this month.

And Caprice Bourret was seen looking as glam as ever as she attended the launch of Nutrition expert Scott Harrison’s book Eat Your Way to a Six Pack at the Devonshire Club, Spitalfields, London.

The 48-year-old model wore a 70s style sequined high-necked lime green mini-dress with an elegant slit in the front revealing a hint of cleavage.

Caprice completed her look with a pair of black platform heels, putting on a very leggy display.

The star wore her platinum tresses sleek and straight while a rich palette of make-up enhanced her youthful features.

Also at the event was former The Only Way Is Essex star Jess Wright, who looked striking in a Balmain blazer and black flares which also added a touch of the vintage to her outfit.

The reality TV star, 34, looked chic in all black, a look she paired with a small chained bag and a bronzed make-up look.

Later in the night the pair were joined for photos by the book’s author Scott Harrison and TV presenter Kate Thornton.

Kate wore a monochrome block skirt with a black top, adding a pop of colour with a red jacket over her look.

While Scott looked suave as he opted for a sharp black suit and jeans as he promoted his book that holds the slogan ‘six packs are made in the kitchen!’

The outing comes after Caprice announced that she had quit Dancing On Ice on Feb 2 and hit back at her former pro partner Hamish Gaman after she made allegations of bullying behaviour against him.

The model’s rep told MailOnline at the time: ‘It’s true that Caprice is no longer participating in Dancing On Ice. It’s been a hard few months and she’s had to keep silent for contractual reasons.

‘Her mental wellbeing has been affected over the last two months and recent stories leaked to the press are not only salacious but extremely hurtful.

‘Now she’s taking some time to recover and look after herself and her family.’

On Sunday Hamish Gaman made his first appearance on Dancing On Ice since quitting the show the week before.

The dancer declared that he was having the worst time of his life following the aftermath of Caprice’s departure from the show.

He said in a statement just a week before: ‘The past three-and-a-half months have been the worst of my life, and I’m struggling. It might look like things have been calming down, but they aren’t’

Tweeting on Sunday the dancer wrote: ‘Hi everyone. I’m excited to be returning to @dancingonice tonight. Thank you to everyone who reached out to me when I was really struggling.
