Obscene! The Mummy Diaries viewers took to social media in their droves to voice their distaste for Sam Faiers’, 29, extravagant spending and lack of discipline towards her children

The Mummy Diaries took viewers back to December 2019, when Billie and Sam Faiers were gearing up for the festive season.

Sam and boyfriend Paul Knightly had a fall-out at the start of the episode they put lights up on their huge Christmas tree, which they decorated despite heading off to the Maldives for Christmas Day.

Ahead of their festive jolly, the famous sisters got their children together for their first family Christmas photoshoot.

To ensure everything was perfect Sam and Billie hired a 14th century mansion, a professional photographer and bought dazzling outfits.

To top it off, they hired a £40,000 sparkling crystallised children’s sized car boasting a whopping 40,000 swarovski crystals.

Billie’s children Nelly and Arthur began playing with the car along with Sam’s children Rosie and baby Paul, but the play soon turned into fighting over the vehicle.

Eventually Rosie cracked the windscreen of the car, leaving mum Sam to promise to foot the bill as the car owner awkwardly looked on.

Later in the episode, Sam gathered her two young offspring to circle their desired Christmas presents from a catalogue.

With only one brochure between them, they refused to share. Angered by the situation, baby Paul smacked his mother and ran off to hide in a cupboard.

In a piece to camera, Sam explained: ‘That was a major mummy error only having one catalogue’ before proceeding to sit in the cupboard with her son, encouraging him to circle as many toys as possible.

Not satisfied with a luxury Maldives Christmas break, Sam organised a party ahead of their family getaway.

As Paul and Sam invited cameras inside their home as Billie and her husband Greg Shepard arrived with their two children, the extent of the decorations were unveiled.

Giant festive themed statues and abundant amounts of balloons and baubles were laid out in various rooms throughout her house.

Following a dinner cooked and served by a private chef, human elves who’d been hired arrived to surprise the children.

Viewers took to Twitter throughout the episode to vent about Sam’s unnecessary spending and lack of discipline, branding her children ‘spoilt.’

‘Why would they let those kids in that car? £40k and they’re screaming and fighting over it. Ridiculous! #MummyDiaries,’ ranted one person.

‘You could clearly tell that guy in charge of the car was squirming, embarrassed even with how those kids were behaving. Jesus they’re not taught any respect, I want I want control your bl**dy kids!’ responded another Twitter user.

One gobsmacked viewer tweeted: ‘OMG! She’s broken the car. That’s what comes from getting too big for your boots and not disciplining your kids #mummydiaries.’

‘The kids do as they want, further, they’re rewarded for bad behaviour! Don’t get it!’ chipped in someone else, to which the original tweeter responded: ‘Exactly!

‘Gently whispering to not touch the windscreen & then be surprised when the kids ignore & break it!’

‘Very spoilt kids, no appreciation for anything as they get wayyyy too much all the time,’ added another fan of the show.

‘Does anyone else think that Paul & Rosie get away with murder? You see Billie tell her kids off when they’re naughty but Sam just seems to give in to whatever they want & excuse it as strong willed,’ mused one viewer.

‘Discipline your kids Sam! Billie & Greg are fab with not letting the kids be too bratty but Sam & espesh Paul are weird,’ slammed someone else

‘Sam and Paul’s children have no discipline at all and are constantly rewarded for bad behaviour!!’ wrote another viewer.

Someone else tweeted: ‘Sam only has herself to blame for her kids bad behaviour!! She’s ruined them.’

‘They didn’t need to pick toys, fgs. Just buy a few you’d think they’d like. Sam has completely ruined those kids. I pity their teachers,’ fumed another person.

‘Little Paul throws a tantrum, hits mummy & so what do we do? Give him exactly what he wants #mummydiaries,’ pointed out a viewer.

‘These kids screaming , shouting &slapping out!! What the hell!! #MummyDiaries,’ wrote an exasperated fan.

‘All that money spent on those decorations when they’re not even there for Christmas. What a waste. #mummydiaries,’ criticised another.

‘oh my god how much did that all cost #mummydiaries’  asked someone watching the show.

‘When I think of all the people that had to use food banks over Christmas and Sam has 800 biodegradable balloons and 200 roses to decorate her dining room!!! Obscene!!! #mummydiaries,’ fumed another viewer.

‘Some people have too much money. They have lots of money but a lack of work! #mummydiaries,’ concluded someone else.

‘Love nelly and Arthur they have character just find baby Paul and Rosie really spoilt,’ added another fan of the show.

‘Sam really does love to show us peasants how much money she had ! That room looks like flippin selfridges’ commented a viewer when Sam unveiled her Christmas party decor.
