A thrifty mother has shared her impressive kitchen makeover, revealing how she spent just £80 transforming the space with bargain buys.
Mum-of-three Martyna Janczyńska, from Middlesbrough, was keen to inject a splash of personality into her drab kitchen – but wanted to do so on a budget.
The business owner explained how she lifted the whole space simply by adding a statement wall to ‘centre’ the kitchen.
Using £30 chic shadow easycare dulux paint as a base, she covered it with £10 blackboard paint and spent £40 on eBay for accessories, spice racks and stickers to add to the wall.

Taking to Facebook page DIY On A Budget, the before picture shows a pale plastered wall with a spice rack and clock, drawing attention to some of the older units.
However with the addition of the vibrant wall, covered in stickers and positive messages, the kitchen immediately has a new focal point, brightening it up.
Martyna also added stick-on patterns from eBay to the plain white tiles, continuing the monochrome theme throughout the kitchen, and painting the remaining walls a powder blue.

Sharing her transformation online, she wrote: ‘New kitchen! We use ebay stickers, dulux chic shadow easycare paint and blackboard paint’.
Her pictures racked up almost 2,000 likes and comments from impressed users, with one writing: ‘This is beautiful!! Are the tile stickers easy to use? Do they wear okay?’.
‘I love this! I’m planning on doing my kitchen very similar’, another added.
