Vernon Kay has launched an extraordinary attack on Jack Black, branding the Hollywood star a pig-faced ‘c**k’ who behaved like an ‘absolute d**k’ in interviews.
The 45-year-old TV personality has revealed that he met and interviewed the Hollywood star, 50, on numerous occasions during his stint on the show T4 in the early 2000s, and found their interactions left a lot to be desired.
In an interview published by The Sun, Vernon is quoted as saying: ‘I don’t know whether he’d had a hangover or whether it was because I was either the first or last interview of the day but he was horrible. He was an absolute d**k, an a******e.’

The Manchester native continued in his rant: ‘When you’re so rude, arrogant, and pig-faced to a young TV presenter, who’s so nervous and trying to hone his skills, and you’re so arrogant to dismiss that, it’s just not on.
‘He was just a c**k. I interviewed him three or four times for various films. I interviewed him for Gulliver’s Travels, for School of Rock, for Shallow Hal and a couple of others and he was just the same every time.’
And, according to The Sun, Vernon is hopeful his cutting words capture the attention of Jack, as he added: ‘I hope he reads it, and let this be a lesson to Jack Black.’

On a more celebratory note, Vernon’s wife of 16 years Tess Daly, 50, recently shared a loved-up snapshot of the pair together to mark a staggering 20 years since they celebrated their first Valentine’s Day together.
The Strictly Come Dancing host, who shared the image on her Instagram acount, captioned the post: ‘Happy 20th Valentines @vernonkay.’
Tess and Vernon have been married since 2003, and have two daughters together; Phoebe, 15, and Phoebe, 10.

In November, Vernon was forced to clarify his marital status when a fan queried whether he and wife Tess had been ‘living separate lives’ due to not sharing photos of one another in recent months.
Writing underneath a picture of his daughters at the beach, the presenter was quizzed by one of his concerned followers, ‘feels like you and @tessdaly are living separate lives. I hope not. Love you guys.’
However, the TV star was quick to fire back, insisting their private family pictures didn’t need to be in the public domain.

Vernon wrote: ‘Pictures of our family life are all labelled nicely on an iPad or in Apple photo books for us to share, as a family.
‘No need to invite the world into our home life, some do, but it’s not for us. We are 100 [per cent]. Thanks for asking.’
One of his followers replied: ‘Good for you. Just because you and Tess are in the public does not mean you can’t have a private life.
‘Stay strong you two lovely people (not that I know you both!!) But from one human to another stay strong.’

The couple have been stronger than ever in recent years after their marriage hit the rocks in 2010, as Vernon made a public apology to his wife after a set of saucy messages to glamour model Rhian Sugden emerged.
Vernon promised live on BBC Radio 1 that he would no longer contact Rhian or the four other women he had been caught messaging at the time.
It was then revealed the pair had got back in touch in 2015 with Vernon sending hundreds of texts asking to ‘reconnect’ with the model.
Speaking in December 2017, Strictly Come Dancing host Tess told The Times: ‘All marriages have their moments. Marriage is a work in progress. Vernon and I are just people, at the end of the day.’
