Two adorable pooches were left bewildered when they failed to find their owner who had wedged herself in a doorway.

Romina Orofiamma, a social media content creator from Toronto, Canada, played a hilarious prank on her corgis Doby, four, and Blue, two.

After wedging herself in a doorway, the 29-year-old called her dog’s names.

She presses a finger to her lips as the pair are heard frantically rushing in her direction.

The two adorable pooches search for Ms Orofiamma, but run straight underneath her as they fail to spot the pet owner hiding in plain sight. 

The footage, taken on February 29, was part of a prank about the size of corgis and went viral after being posted onto Instagram.

It racked up over 34,000 views, captioned: ‘This is the video that everyone seems to love #shortlegproblems’.

One social media user commented: ‘I’ve literally watched this 50x times and still think it’s hilarious’.

Another added: ‘They can’t be any more adorable’.

A third wrote: ‘They need to work on their sniffing more, could have caught you while crossing…’ 

Ms Orofiamma said: ‘I wanted to make a joke about corgis being short.

‘I thought it would be funny but didn’t think the video would blow up like it did.’
