A doctor revealed the striking similarities between celebrity faces using a facial mapping technique.
Dr Kaywaan Khan, director of Hannah London MediSpa in London, analysed the faces of 30 A-listers to determine who shared defining features.
He told FEMAIL how certain stars possess facial features that appear to be a combination of two other celebrities. For example, Elle Fanning’s face is a mix of Rosamund Pike and Ellie Goulding’s.
Here, a look at some of the similar celebrity faces…
Rosamund Pike and Ellie Goulding = Elle Fanning
Medical Doctor and Aesthetician Dr Kaywaan, Director of Hannah London MediSpa in Harley Street and Beaufort Park, analysed the faces of thirty A-listers. He revealed how Rosamund Pike’s upturned nose (left) and symmetrical lips, mixed with Ellie Goulding’s arched eyebrow (right) is a perfect mix of Elle Fanning’s face (below)
Elle Fanning is a perfect mix of Ellie Goulding and Rosamund Pike, according to Dr Kaywaan’s analysis
He said: ‘All three of these women have a charming heart-shaped face with attractive pointed chins that taper their jawlines.
‘Rosamund’s wide smile, bottom lip proportion and symmetrical nose mirrors Elle’s.
‘Meanwhile Ellie’s sharper eye shape, subtle brow arch and more equally proportioned lips find their counterparts with Elle’s facial features too’.
Gabrielle Union and Gigi Hadid = Rihanna
Rihanna shares cat-like shape of Gigi Hadid’s eyes (left) and the raised tip of Gabrielle Union’s nose (seen right)
The doctor believes that Rihanna’s stunning cupid’s bow on her top lip adds individual style to their features
‘With the more raised tip of Gabrielle Union’s nose, cat-like shape of Gigi Hadid’s eyes and a combination of perfectly proportioned lips that complement face shape, Rihanna appears like the love child of these two beautiful women.
‘Rihanna’s stunning cupid’s bow on her top lip adds individual style.
‘Note how their face shape is all exactly the same, but with subtle tweaks between their bone structure as seen where the jaw and chin meet.’
Beyoncé and Sofia Vergara = Jennifer Lopez
The cosmetic doctor explained that Beyonce (left) and Sofia Vergara (right) share similar bone structure and a jawline that culminates in a more rounded chin – much like Jennifer Lopez
Dr Kaywaan believes that ‘with more open and expressive eyes like Sofia and a wider smile and button-nose like Beyoncé’s, Jennifer showcases the best of both women’s features’
‘Beyonce and Sofia Vergara share similar bone structure and a jawline that culminates in a more rounded, rather than sharp, shape – much like Jennifer Lopez; all three women share a similar aesthetic in that respect.
‘However with more open and expressive eyes like Sofia and a wider smile and button-nose like Beyoncé’s, Jennifer showcases the best of both.’.
Megan Fox and Taylor Swift = Vanessa Hudgens
Megan Fox (left) and Taylor Swift share the same diamond face shape as Vanessa Hudgens
The doctor explains Vanessa shares Taylor’s sharper and narrower eyes, as well as Megan’s bone structure and lip proportions
‘The diamond face shape takes front and centre here with both Megan Fox and Taylor Swift and can be seen on Vanessa Hudgens too.
‘Note how Taylor’s sharper and more narrow eyes make their way onto Vanessa’s visage too, while Megan’s overall bone structure and lip proportions also echo Vanessa’s beautifully harmonious face.’
Angelina Jolie and Padma Lakshmi = Priyanka Chopra
Angelina Jolie’s lips and Padma Lakshmi’s rounded face shape (right) are shared by Priyanka Chopra
The doctor believes Priyanka Chopra’s mouth perfectly matches Angelina’s while her face shape is closer to Padma’s
‘Angelina’s ultimate pillowed lips are actually very similar in shape, size and fullness to Priyanka’s; while Padma’s plumper cheeks and more rounded face shape overall can also be seen as similar to Priyanka Chopra’s.
‘Note how the nasolabial folds (also known as the nose-to-mouth lines) are present on all three – each naturally framing their smiles.’
Marina Abramović and Miley Cyrus = Lady Gaga
Marina Abramović (left) has fuller facial features while Miley Cyrus (right) has more ‘cat-like’ features, according to Dr Kaywaan, which combine to create Lady Gaga’s face
The doctor believes Miley Cyrus’ ‘sharp and petite’ features and Marina’s more full-bodied features perfectly make up Lady Gaga’s face (seen)
‘Marina Abramović has strong and full-bodied facial features which make for a distinctive look that we can also see Lady Gaga having echoes of when it comes to her own aesthetic.
‘Miley Cyrus’ face is sharper, more petite and almost ‘cat-like’ overall and this proves to be the layer between which Lady Gaga’s facial aesthetics sit – all individual with subtle yet striking similarities when viewed together.’
Tom Hardy and Wentworth Miller = Logan Marshall-Green
Logan Marshall-Green has fuller lips like Tom Hardy, left, and almond-like eyes reminiscent of Wentworth Miller, right, while his nose is a perfect combination of the two
Dr Kaywaan says Logan Marshall-Green’s face, pictured, strikes the balance between Tom’s fuller and more rounded features and Miller’s more streamlined features and bone structure
‘With fuller lips like Tom Hardy, almond-like eyes reminiscent of Wentworth Miller and a nose that is the perfect combination of the two; it is little wonder that Logan Marshall-Green is often confused with these fellow actors.
‘His visage strikes the balance between Tom’s fuller and more rounded features and Miller’s more streamlined features and bone structure – making for a handsome hybrid while still retaining his own aesthetic overall.’
Ed Sheeran and Rupert Grint = Lewis Capaldi
The doctor believes Ed Sheeran’s less defined features, left, mixed with Rupert Grint’s symmetry (right) combine to create Lewis Capaldi’s appearance
Dr Kaywaan says: ‘Lewis Capaldi (seen) matches the pair as they all share very open and expressive eyes and he also showcases both of their more rounded face shapes and even overall harmonisation of facial features to suit this shape’
‘Taking note of Ed Sheeran’s less defined, rounder and balanced features, we can also see how Rupert Grint retains that balance with a sense of overall symmetry in his face.
‘Lewis Capaldi matches the pair as they all share very open and expressive eyes and he also showcases both of their more rounded face shapes and even overall harmonisation of facial features to suit this shape.’
Mark Ronson and Austin Butler = Shawn Mendes
The doctor explains that Mark Ronson’s slimline face (left) and Austin Butler’s noticeable chin and jawline (right) merge into Shawn Mendes
He believes Shawn’s face is more balanced overall and makes for a ‘more youthful aesthetic’
‘With Mark Ronson’s slimline face and Austin Butler’s noticeable chin and jawline, Shawn Mendes showcases both of these features along with his own high cheekbones and the high and wide forehead that all three share too.
‘While Mark and Austin both have a more prominent and stereotypically masculine lower face shape, Shawn’s is more balanced overall and makes for a more youthful aesthetic.’
DJ Khaled and French Montana = Drake
DJ Khaled, left, French Montana, right, and Drake all share similarities in the centre of the face
He believes both DJ Khaled and French Montana’s overall aesthetic (such as more almond-like eyes and a wider cheek area) are also evident with Drake’s face and facial features overall (seen)
‘Setting aside the fact that DJ Khaled, French Montana and Drake all have virtually the same haircut; we can still see similarities especially in the centre of the face.
‘Notice how that even though each nose shape is different, both DJ Khaled and French Montana’s overall aesthetic (such as more almond-like eyes and a wider cheek area) are also evident with Drake’s face and facial features overall.’
