Tinie Tempah has slated British Airways for the condition of his ‘disgusting’ plane seat.

The musician filmed two videos which he posted on his social media accounts showing a dirty pillow and his crumb covered seat.

The first piece of footage has a caption saying ‘Sort it out British Airways. This isn’t fair’.

The Children of the Sun hitmaker said: ‘I am wiping down this aircraft now yeah because of coronavirus as well but a quick question BA, why are your things so dirty?

‘What’s this about? How come man spend so much money on a ticket and your seats are always so dirty?’

The rapper followed this up with another video which appeared to show a pillow with a red wine stain.

He added: ‘Look at this, it’s f****** nasty, sort it out BA man’.

British Airways responded to his concerns on Twitter asking him to send them a message about his flight.

A spokesman for British Airways told MailOnline: ‘Our customers rightly expect our aircraft to be clean and we insist on very high standards of cleanliness.

‘Our long-haul aircraft receive a thorough clean after every flight.

It comes as British Airways passengers are complaining they cannot access or cancel their bookings online due to a glitch on the airline’s website this morning.

Customer reports of IT issues began at around 6.30am this morning before reaching a high of 119 by 11.30am, according to independent outage tracker Downdetector.

One frustrated customer wrote on Twitter: ‘Trying to book a new flight with British Airways only to see online the website is down. There’s always something!!!’

Another said: ‘I’ve tried to book flights to NY this morning and after selecting flights I get an error – happened twice.’

British Airways told MailOnline in a statement: ‘Our website is working normally.
