The late Princess of Wales’ former private secretary has warned the Windsors not to ‘underestimate’ the ‘media blitz’ Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could unleash.
Patrick Jephson, from the UK, told how the Duke, 35, and Duchess of Sussex, 38, will soon be free to unleash ‘revenge’ interviews and tell-all books.
‘There may be much to mock about Megxit but the joke will be on the Windsors if they underestimate the media blitz Meghan and Harry will soon be free to unleash,’ he said, speaking to The Times.
‘Sussex revenge for perceived slights and injustices could be rapidly launched from American chat show studios, and who will be surprised when Meghan: Her True Story tops the Christmas bestsellers?’

The couple count the likes of US chat show hosts Oprah Winfrey and James Cordon as friends – and both made the guest list and were seen arriving at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle for the royal wedding on 19 May 2018.
Patrick went on to say that it will become apparent in time whether the Palace has the essential means to protect itself.
His comments come after the royal couple’s decision to step down as ‘senior royals’ in a bid to become more financially independent – and just days after the pair attended the Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey for their last official engagement.
Princess Diana’s former private secretary, who was in the role from 1988 to 1996, also told how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are one step ahead when it comes to their media game.

Meghan Markle has already started her new life after flying straight to Canada from the Commonwealth Day Service to reunite with baby Archie, while Prince Harry has stayed in the UK.
The Duke of Sussex was reportedly in Buckingham Palace yesterday for a series of meetings to plan his future work in the UK, as reported by The Telegraph.
It is understood that Harry will fly back to Vancouver Island soon, where the couple have been living in recent months their son at a luxurious £14million waterside mansion.
