Meghan Markle is reportedly very happy to be back on Vancouver Island and is enjoying two-hour long walks with son Archie through the woods every day, a source has told Us Weekly.
The Duchess of Sussex, 38, and Prince Harry, 35, recently returned to Canada from the UK, where they carried out their final duties as senior members of the Royal Family.
Megxit comes into force from March 31, at which point the Queen’s grandson and the American former actress will no longer use their HRH titles as they pursue a new life of personal and financial freedom.
And Meghan appears to be relishing her new life in Canada, where she previously lived while filming legal drama Suits.

‘Meghan takes a walk with Archie every single day through the woods,’ a source told Us Weekly.
‘She either pushes him in a stroller through the paved trails through the public woods by their home or straps him on and walks the more rustic routes. The walks usually last around an hour or two, but she takes them daily.’
In January Meghan was photographed taking 10-month-old Archie and her two dogs through the Horth Hill Regional Park near the opulent £10million [$14million] Vancouver Island mansion they have used since American Thanksgiving last year.
Followed by two bodyguards, Meghan was wrangling her black Labrador Oz and beagle Guy while appearing to struggle to keep Archie in her baby carrier.

The source claimed the duchess is ‘very kind and pleasant’ to any locals she meets while hiking and stops to chat about parenting and the weather.
Meghan is also reportedly telling friends she is ‘so happy to be out in nature’ and in their ‘secluded’ area, the insider added.
Earlier this week Meghan and Harry attended the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey – their final official engagement as senior members of the Royal Family.
They were reunited for the first time with Prince William and Kate Middleton, with a body language expert claiming it was ‘not the warm reunion we’d been hoping for’.

Meghan is reported to have flown back to Canada soon after the Commonwealth Service, with Bazaar.com’s royal editor-at-large Omid Scobie revealing she wanted to ‘be home before Archie woke up’.
He said the duke and duchess believed their exit from royal life ‘wasn’t necessary’, but felt forced into it – especially after they were left to ‘fend for themselves’ during Meghan’s pregnancy.
According to Omid, Harry, 35, was ‘heartbroken’ at having to give up his military honours after serving 10 years in the British army, while Meghan, 38, shed tears at the farewell party the couple threw for their staff.
Writing in Bazaar.com Omid, who accompanied the couple on the final days of their farewell tour, said: ‘To say they were crushed is an understatement.’

The couple will keep their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage, but start paying commercial rent and pay back £2.4million in taxpayers’ money spent on its renovations.
Harry and Meghan are also believed to have been looking at rental properties in California, including an eight-bedroom Malibu mansion worth £15million.
This would locate them near Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, and it is also close to Silicon Valley and Hollywood where the couple might have meetings.
The couple are predicted to make millions of pounds from public speaking, lucrative contracts, book deals – or perhaps for Meghan, a return to acting.
