Sarah Michelle Gellar pulls on gloves as she steps out grocery shopping in LA

Los Angeles has seen a glut of panic buying amid the spread of coronavirus.

So Sarah Michelle Gellar pulled on a pair of gloves when she stepped out for a trip to the grocery store in Brentwood on Friday.

The 42-year-old Buffy The Vampire Slayer icon was wrapped up against the rain in dark coat and a cozy-looking black turtleneck.

Gathering her hair up into a ponytail, the Cruel Intentions star made sure to prepare for the weather with rain boots and a baseball cap.

She emphasized her trim legs in a pair of skintight jeans and added an extra touch of glamour with glittering earrings and a Gucci bag.

Sarah Michelle was feeling nostalgic for less worrisome times that day, posting an Instagram throwback snap of a seaside trip she was on in January.

The blonde bombshell could be seen relaxing in a hot tub while modeling a black swimsuit and enjoying an iced drink.

She captioned: ‘#flashbackfriday Take me back to January – when I was on vacation and the only thing corona meant to me was beer’.

Sarah Michelle has been married to Freddie Prinze Jr. since 2002 and they share two children – Charlotte, 10, and Rocky, seven.

Freddie turned 44 this past Thursday and his wife marked the occasion on Instagram snap by posting a glamour shot taken of him as a teen.

‘A very long time ago, on this very day, this handsome man was born,’ captioned Sarah Michelle, who has done six movies with Freddie. 

‘I am extremely happy about that (although I doubt he’s happy that I still have this high school picture) happy birthday @realfreddieprinze #happybirthday’.
