After self-quarantining herself due to the coronavirus outbreak, Zoe Kravitz clapped back at a fan who accused her of lightening her skin.

The 31-year-old actress shared a photo on Instagram Tuesday of her and her beloved pup Scout, stating, ‘self(ie) quarantine. stay inside kids. one day at a time.’

One of the first comments was from a fan dubbed ‘wendynmart,’ who wondered if she was getting her skin whitened.

‘Am I wrong or she is looking so white in this picture, please don’t tell me you are getting ready of your melanin, you are so beautiful with your natural color,’ the fan asked.

Kravitz responded by stating, ‘jesus. no girl. this is what happens to some of us mixed kids when we can’t go outside lol.’ 

Other fans backed her up, like alexiag77, who said, ‘she’s light skinned when you loose sun u loose color. It happens.’

Kravitz is the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, who recently debuted her new series High Fidelity on Hulu.

She portrays a record store owner named Robyn ‘Rob’ Brooks, who finds herself revisiting her past relationships while trying to get over her one true love.

The series is adapted from the Nick Hornby novel of the same name, which was previously adapted into a film of the same name, starring John Cusack as Robert ‘Rob’ Gordon and Kravitz’s mother, Lisa Bonet, as her new love interest.

She is currently filming the highly-anticipated Warner Bros. superhero adventure The Batman, where she plays the iconic Selina Kyle, a.k.a. Catwoman.

The actress will star alongside Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman, revealing to Variety that she has nothing but high praise for her co-star.

‘He’s just a delightful person and such a wonderful, thoughtful actor. I think he’s perfect for the role and it’s going to be such an adventure. I’m excited to have him as my partner in crime, because it’s intense,’ she said.

The film, written and directed by Gerardo Naranjo (Miss Bala), centers on a roadie who travels across North America with a punk band during the 1980s. 

She also had a brief cameo in her husband Jason Momoa’s Super Bowl commercial for Rocket Mortgage.
