Myleene Klass launches Music Klass for her fans as she gives piano tips and plays requests with her talented children on Instagram amid coronavirus crisis

Myleene Klass is doing her bit to keep the nation entertained during the coronavirus pandemic.

As millions self isolate around the world, the classically-trained star launched Music Klass on her Instagram page on Thursday.

Explaining that a friend had recommended she and her family put their musical talents to good use, Myleene announced she would lead the online class every day, taking requests and giving tips with the help of her talented daughters Ava, 12, and Hero, eight.

Explaining the idea, Myleene, who has 316k followers, wrote on Insta: ‘So my friend has said I should do a mini gig from my house as there’s always someone playing or singing something!’

‘My youngest has had school canceled now so let’s get on this. Ask me music questions if you have any esp if you want to get your kids into piano etc…. get them to play/sing along. Will even do requests of you’re putting your baby to bed!’

Later the star posted a video as she shared a family dinner with partner Simon Motson, her daughters Ava and Hero along with the newest member of the family, baby Apollo, seven months.

The former Hear’Say singer excitedly told her followers that ‘everyone is buzzing from this, so we’re going to try do this nearly every day if we can’.

‘Bring your instruments and if you or your kids want to get into playing, and bring your requests, you hum it I’ll play it. We’ll be doing all kinds of requests from classical to pop. 

Simon requested Daft Punk while Myleene’s daughters suggested lots of Beyonce and the star said she’d play tracks from Apollo’s favourite Disney film Moana.

Later in the evening the Music Klass got underway as Myleene introduced her daughters who wowed with their piano talents, before the star herself got on the keys to play requests from fans. 

Myleene has been presenting her Smooth Radio show from the London studio this week. 

After her radio show on Monday, Myleene took to Instagram Stories to share a snap of herself inside the studio as she urged fans at home to tune in.

She captioned the image: ‘On @smoothradio right now. So many of you working from home… Come keep me company x.’
