The radio host made $490,000 profit on his investment, as he initially bought the apartment for $1.08 million in 2015.

Smallzy moved into the apartment in 2015 but bought a $2.1 million townhouse in 2018 and moved into it, according to realestate.com.au.

He then sought $925-a-week to rent out the investment property before selling it in February.

‘With high-quality finishes & architect-designed details, this indoor/outdoor apartment is an impressive city residence,’ the Domain property listing read.

The 110 square metre apartment also has two ‘hotel-style’ bathrooms and has access to a communal swimming pool.

It is accessible by lift and offers secure parking.

Smallzy’s investment property sales comes as the global economy is set for a recession amid the coronavirus pandemic.

‘There will be a spike in listings from get-out-early, worried landlords,’ realestate.com.au predicted.

According to the publication, many landlords are worried that their tenants will lose income or become redundant, making them unable to pay their rent.
