Tiffiny Hall reveals her family were forced to close their Taekwondo studio due to COVID-19


‘It’s so heartbreaking’: Former Biggest Loser trainer Tiffiny Hall tears up as she reveals her family were forced to close their Taekwondo studio amid the coronavirus pandemic

Australian gyms were forced to close on Monday as the federal government brought in further restrictions to battle the spread of COVID-19. 

Former Biggest loser trainer Tiffiny Hall shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, revealing her family’s Taekwondo studio was one of many small businesses forced to close its doors. 

The 35-year-old teared up as she sent a ‘big virtual hug’ to the health clubs, gyms and other small businesses that were suffering due to new restrictions.

‘Our family business, Hall’s Taekwondo, operational for 36 years closed its doors today. We have 49 staff members that we’re trying to support through this. 

‘I know all small businesses are struggling and doing it incredibly tough and it is so heartbreaking,’ Tiffiny said on Monday. 

She added: ‘Big virtual hug to all the gyms, my personal gyms that support me. We’re gonna make it through it.

‘We’re going to be training and strong and then we’re going to be out in the world again in these beautiful healthy facilities where we can all feel strong together.’

The television personality urged her followers to support the ‘fitness community’, with many businesses finding new, digital ways to share their health-focused content.   

‘They’ll be setting up fitness groups on Facebook and many of the instructors at my gym are doing little Instagram workouts.

‘So support them, throw them a like, send some love, these guys are doing it tough and I am sending all of my love and support to all small business and to Hall’s Taekwondo, who have my heart,’ she finished, visibly emotional. 

Tiffiny went on to share throwback pictures of her at Hall’s Taekwondo studio, as well as footage of her working out at her local gym before the restrictions were put in place. 

As of Tuesday evening, there have been 2,146 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Australia with eight deaths
