Comedian Julia Morris celebrates being able to wear ‘really big undies every single day’ while self-distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! host Julia Morris has urged Australians to find something ‘positive’ to focus on amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 51-year-old comedian revealed on Thursday that her personal silver lining was being able to wear ‘really big undies’ while self-distancing at home.

In her Instagram video, Julia chatted to the camera, which was extremely close to her face, showing only her signature thick rimmed glasses and a dark grey towel wrapped around her head.

‘Guys my psychologist says that in really tough situations, you know, there is some positive in there if you can find it,’ Julia said in an Instagram video.

She went on to explain: ‘For me, that positive is that I get to wear really big undies every single day. Doesn’t matter about VPL, visible panty line, check it out!’

Julia turned the camera towards her full length mirror, posing excitedly as she donned a supportive black bra and high waisted full brief underwear.

It comes after the TV personality shared a short clip of herself wearing a filtered face mask at her local Woolworths supermarket on Saturday.

In the video, Julia wore a material face mask with a filter, often used for air pollution, and accessorised with black headphones and her reading glasses.

Julia moved her head from side to side as she filmed herself perusing the aisles in the bakery section of Woolworths.

She wrote in the post’s caption: ‘When you are the ONLY one in the supermarket in a mask, and peeps (sic) are giving you the stink eye… make sure you really give them something to judge!!!.’

While many followers applauded Julia for still having a laugh amid such trying times, others failed to find the humour, calling the mask an ‘overreaction’.
