Captioning the images, Fearne moaned that she had had a sleepless night and that ‘good music’ was the cure.

She wrote: ‘Morning. After a night of ridiculous insomnia I need good music.

‘Luckily there is a brand new episode of Sounds Of The 90’s available on @BBC sounds so to celebrate here are some more 90’s photos for ya. Yup, yup that IS a perm with a straight fringe! Deal with it.’

One image showed a young looking Fearne beaming at the camera as she sported a rust coloured jumper and a straight fringe.

While another showed her smiling away with friend and fellow presenter Reggie Yates back in the day.

A third snap saw a school-uniform clad Fearne sporting a much longer mane of glossy long locks.

While a fourth snap defined the nineties, showing the star with crinkled pigtails and a sparky black bandeau top sipping on an alcopop drink.

On Tuesday the podcast host candidly discussed the difficulties of trying to navigate a blended family amid the UK coronavirus lockdown.

Fearne shares Rex, seven, and Honey, four, with her rocker beau Jesse Wood, who also has Arthur, 18, and Lola, 14, with his ex-wife Tilly.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Fearne shared two snaps of herself enjoying a home workout as she used the hashtag ‘#StayTheHellHome’ in a bid to stop the public from going outside following Boris Johnson’s UK lockdown on Monday night.

The mother-of-two showcased her toned arms and physique in a black crop top and matching leggings as she playfully flexed her muscles to the camera.

Fearne went on to share a candid video as she discussed the difficulties of trying to navigate a blended family amid the UK coronavirus lockdown.

In her video, Fearne also revealed that son Rex, seven, was ‘doing great’ learning in the house despite sharing her homeschooling mares on Friday.

Fearne said: ‘I, like many of you, are part of a blended family and after last night’s announcement it’s really difficult to know how to play that. My step-kids come and go from both houses — to our house, to their mum and step-dad’s.

‘From what we’ve read, we think the best approach is to take it as long as both sets of parents have no symptoms or children, and they haven’t in the last two weeks, we should be able to continue having the kids dropped off or picking them up.

‘So we can spend time with them because the thought of not seeing them for, God knows how long, is tricky. There’s so much more I want to say but my brain is scrambled, I haven’t had much sleep. So much love to you all, stay home and safe.’
