A dog owner could not resist filming her puppy when it started ‘sleeprunning’ as it lay dozing on the floor.

Debbie Banerjee took the video of her 54-day-old dog Simba at their apartment in Bangalore, India, while he was taking a nap and apparently dreaming of going for walk.

The video starts with Simba snoozing on the ground with his legs stretched out and his small nose twitching.

The precious pup appears to begin dreaming he is running through an open field or bouncing along a sandy beach as his paws start to move and his nose twitches even more as if he smells something of interest in the distance.

His back legs begin to wiggle and soon his little front legs begin joining in too.

Before long he is in full swing and looks like he is running at full-speed despite laying on the floor fast asleep.
