‘I’m so grateful for all the wonderful memories’: Love Island’s India Reynolds reveals she is ‘heartbroken’ as her grandfather dies aged 92
India Reynolds has revealed the heartbreaking news that her grandfather has passed away at the age of 92.
The former Love Island star, 29, took to Instagram and shared a series of snaps of her grandpa, who she helped to care for during the Covid-19 crisis.
The reality star wrote an impassioned post saying she would ‘cherish’ the memories she made with him forever.

She wrote: ‘Sadly my lovely grandpa had his final nap In his chair yesterday and closed his eyes forever. ❤️
‘He was 92 and although my hearts broken I’m so grateful for all the wonderful memories I’ll cherish, and even more so for all the weeks my dad got to spend caring for him during corona. ❤️
The star shared a video of her grandfather taken four years ago receiving a kitten as a gift.
‘This is one of my favourite memories, we got him a kitten as a surprise Christmas present 4 years ago and although he could no longer move around much, it was lovely to see the happiness it brought, and them napping together in his chair. ❤️

India received an outpouring of support from her followers, with one writing: ‘Oh Reynolds I’m so sorry I know how important he was to you’.
Several others, including fellow Love Islander Jess Hayes sent heart emoji’s to India to show their support.
India’s post comes after she attempted to find love last summer when appearing on the fifth series.

Despite coupling up with the hunky Ovie Soko, 28, and finishing third place the two did not last on the outside world.
The pair called it quits in September just months after leaving the Majorca sun.
Last November, India revealed she’s ‘not really’ OK after her separation from the basketball player.
When asked if she’s alright during her appearance at ITV Palooza, the brunette replied: ‘Not really. I still feel the same, it’s still really new, it’s not been long.’
The TV star went on to admit she’d been maintaining a busy schedule to keep her mind off her relationship woes.
She explained: ‘But I’m just getting on with… I’ve been to LA with Boohoo so that was nice, it took my mind off it a little bit.’
