A look inside the Sydney homes of The Voice Australia coaches

The Voice Australia is one of the most important shows in Channel Nine’s schedule – so it’s hardly surprising the celebrity coaches are rewarded with luxury accommodation when they’re filming in Sydney.

From multi-million dollar inner-city homes to low-key Bondi suites, the stars appear to have very different tastes when it comes to their living spaces.

Although Boy George hasn’t been able to return for the Battle Rounds due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, the ’80s icon is usually put up in a $27,000-per-month mansion in Centennial Park.

The 1906 residence is owned by former Seven Network boss David Leckie.

Similarly, Kelly Rowland, who hasn’t been able to return to Australia either due to travel bans, always has a five-star, $5,000-per-week suite reserved at QT Bondi when she’s in town.

The glamorous beachside escape is also just minutes from the Bondi to Bronte Coastal trail, meaning the Destiny’s Child can easily work off any stress from taping The Voice.

The two-bedroom and two-bathroom unit boasts views over Hyde Park from its two balconies, and 180 sqm of internal space for luxurious living.

Delta’s home is on the seventh floor of the building, which has 87 units in total. Her complex boasts a gym, a 20-metre lap pool, a steam room, and a spa and sauna.

The building also includes a communal wine storage area, so the Innocent Eyes singer won’t have to visit a nearby bottle shop to top up her glass.

Guy Sebastian, a newcomer to The Voice franchise by comparison, lives in a ultra-modern $3.1million ‘fortress’ in Maroubra with his wife and two sons.

The lavish home features a tennis court and grand piano, allowing the family to have plenty of ways to occupy themselves indoors during the COVID-19 lockdown.

In March, Guy performed an Instagram Live concert for fans. He accompanied himself on the piano situated below his home’s central spiral staircase.

Big spender. Guy purchased the $3.1million house in 2013, and then spent two-and-a-half years renovating it. He finally moved in with his family in June 2019

Meanwhile, her co-presenter Darren McMullen appears to be enjoying harbourside views from his Rose Bay mansion.

Filming for the show resumed this week following a three-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Veronicas’ Jess and Lisa Origliasso will help mentor Boy George’s acts, while Marcia Hines will assist with Kelly Rowland’s team.

George and Kelly will still appear in the series and have been coaching their singers remotely via FaceTime.
