Jennifer Garner covers up in grey mask and cap for morning stroll with a pal

She urged her 9.3 million Instagram followers to wear masks whenever they were in public days earlier.

Jennifer Garner led by example on Saturday as she went out for an early morning walk in Los Angeles’ tony Brentwood neighborhood with a friend while wearing a gray mask to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The 48-year-old actress highlighted her trim figure in black leggings, which she paired with a black sweatshirt with her sleeves rolled up.

Jennifer sported a pair of comfortable gray trainers that complemented her mask and her gray baseball cap.

She kept her brunette hair styled simply with a ponytail.

The Love, Simon actress had previously posted photos to her Instagram Stories of herself out and about while wearing a mask on Thursday.

‘I love you, stay safe,’ she captioned one of the snaps.

Back in March, as coronavirus lockdowns were just beginning, she had joked about how difficult it was to get her parents to stay home, but plenty of people still hadn’t gotten the message about the importance of wearing masks to decrease coronavirus transmission.

On Saturday, Jennifer’s fans got a first look at her low-budget remake of The Princess Bride for the struggling streaming app Quibi.

The service, which advertises ‘quick bite’ videos of 10 minutes or less, created a new version of the 1987 classic with celebrities acting out various scenes at home and only using the props they had available.

In a short clip posted by Vanity Fair, Jennifer plays both Princess Buttercup, thanks to a blonde wig and a crown, as well as the old woman who comically boos her for giving up on her true love.

Joe Jonas and his wife Sophie Turner also filmed a scene for the split-up movie, though Joe wore a wig to play Buttercup (Robin Wright in the film) while Sophie dressed in a black mask as her love Westley (Cary Elwes).

Rob Reiner, who directed the film, appeared as the narrator reading the story, while Josh Gad stepped in for Fred Savage as his grandson.

On Friday, Jennifer filmed a simpler video to celebrate Pride Month, which was inspired by the 1969 Stonewall Uprising and raises awareness for the human rights of the LGBTQ community.

The Alias star had wrapped a slender tree in her front yard with rainbow-colored tissue paper while hanging tiny birdhouses from the branches.

‘Birdie and I want to wish you a great weekend and happy Pride from our Pride tree,’ she said, while her Golden Retriever ignored her in favor of something in the bushes.

Missing from Jennifer’s outing and her recent posts were her three children: Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, eight.

The trio often join her for walks in the evening to break up their home quarantine.

She shares the children with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, 47, whom she was married to from 2005 until separating in 2015.

However, the two have remained committed co-parents and regularly attend family functions together.

The Argo star is currently dating Knives Out’s Ana de Armas.
