It was safety first for Kate Langbroek and her 16-year-old son Lewis as they made their way into Melbourne after being cleared of COVID-19.
On Tuesday, the 54-year-old radio host was so overjoyed to be back in her home town that she shared a selfie with her son Lewis from the backseat of a car.
The mother and son were both wearing face masks and appeared to be on their way to a new place they were staying.

Her joy to be back home comes after she and Lewis passed a mandatory coronavirus test after arriving back in Australia from Italy.
Kate shared a photo of herself enjoying a celebratory glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne, as Lewis pulled a face for the camera.
‘We passed our Covid test! Thanks @pullmanmelbourne… you’ve been so lovely – now you can kick us out!’ she wrote.

Kate and Lewis recently jetted back into Melbourne from their new home in Bologna, Italy.
