This isn’t the first time that Dominic has touched on political issues on his social media.

He shared a shirtless photograph of himself at the beach holding a surfboard and revealed that while he would love to return to Australia, he had a responsibility to show support for the protests.

‘I wanna come home to #Australia. Surf with the boys. Hit the pub with the lads,’ he wrote.

‘But I can’t. That would be running from my responsibilities here in #la. Putting my head in the sand. Is part of the problem.’
