Brittany Aldean, 33, posts a Christmas card-worthy family photo

Brittany Aldean took to Instagram on Monday to show off her photogenic family.

The 33-year-old was next to her country singer husband Jason as well as their two kids Memphis, aged two, and Navy, aged one, and the two children he had with his first wife Jessica Ussery: 17-year-old Keeley and 12-year-old Kendyl.

And in her caption, Brittany asked if the image should be their Christmas card.

There were two images: one was perfectly posed and the second one her son was trying to wiggle out of her arms.

‘Christmas Card?? I like the second one lol,’ said the model in her caption.

Brittany was elegant in an army green gown with a slit up her leg and a pair of platform heels as her spouse was dapper in a light gray suit. The children were nicely styled in dressy attire.

The family posed at the base of a winding staircase in their new Tennessee mansion.

In a later post she the blonde said that she and her spouse almost chose to have Memphis and Navy at the same time during their in vitro fertilization (IVF) process.

‘FUN FACT: Both of our babies are IVF babies. We almost put Memphis and Navy in at the same time because after our long infertility journey, multiples seemed AMAZING to me,’ she wrote. ‘I was talked out of it and Memphis was transferred first.’

The singer and his wife have been together for eight years; they met in 2012 and wed in 2015.

Brittany was born Brittany Kerr in North Carolina in 1988.  She attended college then entered a model search for Victoria’s Secret in 2010; she placed in the top 80.

Then she appeared as a contestant on the 11th season of American Idol in 2012. She did not make the cut but she did make a mark on the judges who said she looked great on stage.

In 2012 she met Jason and there was some scandal when she was seen at a bar together. He separated from his wife of 12 years in early 2013, and then he was seen with Brittany again.

By September 2014 they were engaged and in March 2015 the two wed.

They said in late 2019 that they were building their dream ‘forever home.’ And this summer the power couple were able to move into the very large dwelling that is complete with a bowling alley, a separate guest house and a massive swimming pool with a slide as well as a Tiki bar.

Both have taken to Instagram to give fans a good look at the Tennessee property that seems built for country royalty.

The couple oversaw the building of the super home that is set on several acres of lush property.

‘We started building this house I guess a year and a half or so ago,’ Jason explained to Taste Of Country this summer.

‘It was just kind of our forever home. It’s where we want to be from now on and kind of raise our kids.

‘It’s one of those things where I just said, “I’ve worked hard over the years. If we’re going to do this, let’s build what we want, and not sit here in five years and go, Man, I wish he had done this or that.”‘

He added, ‘We made sure we knew exactly what we wanted and when, and started building it.

‘Now I’m going, “Man, I wish we went a little smaller, just so we can be in our house, just because it’s taking forever to do this thing,” but it will be great when it’s all said and done. Obviously the career I’ve had, and the people that have supported it, are the reasons that we get to have that house,’ he added.

‘I’m very thankful for that,’ said Jason. ‘It’s going to be great, just the fact that I get to raise my kids there, and it gets to be there home forever, it’s cool.’

Jason says he had to work with Brittany. They had different ideas of what the dream home should look like. She wanted more modern while he favored a rustic look with more wood beams.  ‘I did pick the water slide, and the pool was definitely all my deal,’ he said.

The pool is so big it looks like it could fit 30 people and the slide is every kid’s dream.  ‘But I’m probably more involved in it than my wife would want me to be, honestly,’ said the singer.  ‘Like, “What do you think about this?”

‘And she’s like, “Oh I love that,” and I’m like, “Hold up a minute. What if we did this?” ‘So it’s been a compromise. I like kind of rustic stuff, and a little more wood beams and stuff, and she’s a little more straight-lined, modern, so it’s kind of a little trade off.

‘We have to give and take with each other on things. I’m excited to get up there.’   They have a massive swimming pool with tiki bar, cedar man room, two-story walk-in closet and bowling alley. There is also a mother-in-law suite that has a separate kitchen and living space.

The family has made the most of their new life after a terrible tragedy happened.

It’s been three years since a gunman opened fire at the Route 91 Harvest festival in as Vegas, killing 61 people and injuring almost 900 more.

Earlier this month Jason, who was on stage at the time the shooting started, marked the anniversary with an Instagram post in which he remembered those whose lives were changed forever, including his own. ‘Hard to believe it’s been 3 years since Route 91,’ he wrote next to a photo of a makeshift memorial at the festival site from 2017.

Aldean went on: ‘That night was probably the worst night of our lives and not a day goes by that we don’t think about the people who lost their lives and the families who have forever been affected by it.’

He added: ‘October 1st will always be a day for us that is extremely hard to relive,’ he added. ‘To everyone in the Route 91 family, we love u guys and we couldn’t have gotten through it without you. #CountryStrong #Route91family #VegasStrong.’

The Rearview Mirror hitmaker’s wife Brittany, who was pregnant at the time, was with him at Route 91.

And in her own Instagram post on Thursday, she described what happened that fateful October 1 night as ‘a nightmare’.

She recalled: ‘I was 8 months pregnant (had Memphis 2 months to the day from the shooting) and my husband was prepping like any other day to entertain thousands of fans. I used to live in Vegas so I had a bunch of friends at the show… little did we know our lives would change forever.’

Brittany, 33, shared: ‘The sound, the chaos, the overwhelming sadness and heartache… it’s something that never leaves you. They call us the ‘Route 91 Family’ in my opinion because we are forever bonded. An experience that thankfully only certain people know.’

‘Our hearts still break for the families who lost a loved one. We are thinking of each and every one of you today, and everyday… And to the men and women who ran towards the bullets to protect all of us… WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL.’
