Kathleen Turner to return full-time as Michael Douglas’ ex-wife for third and final season of The Kominsky Method
Netflix promoted Kathleen Turner to series regular for the third and final season of The Kominsky Method, in which she previously guest-starred as acting coach Sandy Kominsky’s (Michael Douglas) ex-wife #2 Ruth ‘Roz’ Volander.
The 66-year-old Oscar nominee’s button-pushing doctor character will fly to Los Angeles to spend time with their daughter Mindy (Sarah Baker), who’s now dating the much older Martin (Paul Reiser) – according to Deadline.
‘I’ve got my fingers crossed that if we do a third season that Kathleen will be more [involved],’ the 76-year-old executive producer-star told EW last year.

Douglas and Turner first played onscreen lovers in Robert Zemeckis’ successful 1984 adventure flick Romancing the Stone followed by Lewis Teague’s dismally-reviewed 1985 sequel The Jewel of the Nile.
