Adam Thomas’ son Teddy, six, dressed as his hero Sir Captain Tom Moore for History Day at his school on Tuesday.
The actor’s child was so inspired by the former British Army officer who raised £32.79 million for charity during the Covid-19 pandemic by walking laps in his garden before his 100th birthday.
Adam, 32, revealed Teddy wanted to also raise money in the battle against coronavirus and will walk 100 laps around their garden on Saturday.

Taking to Instagram, Adam shared a sweet snap of Teddy dressed as the pensioner.
The Emmerdale star’s son rocked a grey moustache, drawn on wrinkles and the military medals Sir Tom acquired during his career.
Adam and Caroline, 30, wrote on Teddy’s Go Fund Me page: ‘Today is History Day at Teddy’s School. He wanted to go as Sir Captain Tom Moore.

‘After reading up and finding out Sir Tom’s amazing achievements, we are very proud to say Teddy wanted to do the same and raise money for a cause that needs it. On SATURDAY 14th NOVEMBER at 11am, he is going to do Sir Tom’s famous ‘100 laps’ of our garden.
‘We spoke with Teddy about who he would want to raise money for, and we decided on those who have suffered as a result of COVID-19, using the funds to help the affected in any way they need it.
‘We are already so proud our 6 year old to have even thought about doing this, please donate any amount you can!’
At the time of publication, donations had already soared well above their £100 target with £1,539 and counting being raised.
Several of Adam’s pal took to Instagram to congratulate the family on the initiative.
Mark Wright wrote: ‘This is amazing’, while former Made In Chelsea star Kimberley Garner added: ‘This is genius’.
Adam and Caroline tied the knot in a romantic ceremony held at Delamere Manor, Cheshire, on August 27, 2017.
As well as son Teddy, they have their daughter Elsie-Rose, two.
