Jenna Dewan was ready to say goodbye to 2020 forever on New Year’s Eve as she revealed that she had lost a ‘family member’ to COVID-19 in the past year.
The 40-year-old actress and dancer shared the sad news even as she posted some joyous photo of herself and her growing family.
The Step Up star celebrated the ‘life’ and ‘beauty’ she experienced in 2020 while posting lovely images of her two young children and her fiance Steve Kazee, 45.

‘Oh, 2020,’ Jenna seemed to sigh in her caption. ‘Looking back on pictures from this year…It has been challenging, humbling, heartbreaking, shocking and life changing to say the least.
‘I lost a family member to Covid, i have loved ones who lost loved ones and lost jobs. I’ve seen sides of people and this world that i wish i hadn’t seen,’ she continued.
Rather than losing faith in her fellow humans, Jenna zeroed in on the life-affirming aspects of the past year.

‘There was also life, beauty and some of the most incredible experiences of my life..and so i choose to end this year feeling matured, humbled and grateful,’ she wrote.
‘Taking all the lessons of this year into the next chapter. be safe everyone, hang in there and sending love and peace to you all ❤️.’
Jenna opened with a gorgeous image of herself from when she was pregnant earlier this year with her son Callum.
She posed by some white blocks in a fierce scarlet dress with a high slit to showcase her toned legs.
The professional dancer with matching red open-toe stilettos.
She also included some sweet photos featuring Steve, a Tony-winning Broadway star.
She gave the bearded stage star a sweet kiss as they posed in front of their Christmas tree in one snap, while another showed the two from behind as they embraced her daughter Everly, seven, whom she shares with her ex-husband Channing Tatum.

Jenna met the Logan Lucky star on the set of their 2006 dance drama Step Up, and they shortly after production wrapped.
The two married in July 2009, before announcing their separation in 2018.
Later that year, she began dating Steve, and in September 2019 they announced that they were expecting their first child together.
Jenna included a photo of herself in a hospital bed with Steve gentle caressing her head as she gave birth to Callum, now nine months, on March 6.
