Outspoken SAS Australia star Firass Dirani says the U.S. Capitol riots should have ended in a ‘bloodbath of white folk’

SAS Australia’s Firass Dirani has reacted to the U.S. riots after supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol on Wednesday to protest his election loss.

Authorities lost control as rioters trespassed and vandalised the building in Washington, D.C., leading to the death of four people.

‘There should have been a bloodbath of white folk at Capitol Hill. Just to balance the score? No?’ the Underbelly actor, 36, wrote on Instagram.

He added in another post: ‘These days when it’s all futile I remind myself. Breathe in. Out. Breathe again. Deeply. Repeat 10 times. Thank your limbs for being there for so long.

‘Simplicity here is sobering. Breathing momentarily resets. Breathing is an art form. Best natural remedy. Let go of the image you have constructed about yourself. That’s the clincher. Slowly.’

On Wednesday, two men and two women died in the violent siege in Washington DC, including 35-year-old US Air Force veteran Ashli Babbit, who was shot dead by police after she tried to clamber through a barricaded entrance.

A total of 68 people were arrested near the Capitol building, with more expected to be charged as authorities continue to identify and search suspects.

Of those arrests, five were related to unlawful firearm possession and two were for other prohibited weapons including metal knuckles and blackjack-like weapons.

The majority of arrests were related to curfew violations and unlawful entry, with 48 arrests made on US Capitol grounds.

Dozens of those involved in the violent siege, labelled as ‘great patriots’ by the president are yet to be identified and the FBI is now asking for the helping in finding them.
