Better late than never! The Bachelor’s Irena Srbinovska and Locky Gilbert finally have their hometown date as they visit her parents home in Victoria
The Bachelor’s Locky Gilbert sadly didn’t get to meet his winner Irena Srbinovska’s family during hometowns while filming the show last year, due to Covid-19.
But it seems the couple are making up for lost time, as this week they visited her mother, Vesna, and her father, Vasco, at their home in Victoria.
Posting to Instagram Stories on Monday, nurse Irena, 31, revealed she had ‘finally’ taken Locky, 31, on the hometown date they’d missed out on.

The couple looked more loved-up than ever as they embarked on a hike up Mount Macedon with Irena’s parents and their family dog.
‘So if we did get hometown in Victoria, this is where I wanted to bring Locky, my favourite place,’ she said, before panning the camera to reveal a magnificent view.
Irena was wrapped up against the cold in a green parka and patterned exercise leggings, which she paired with a navy beanie.

She styled her hair loosely and appeared to go makeup free for the active date.
Meanwhile, Locky opted for a navy puffer jacket, grey pants and a matching beanie.
The reality TV lovebirds also posed for a happy snap with Irena’s parents, which was shared to Locky’s Instagram account.
‘I feel like I fit right into the Srbinovski family already.’ Locky gushed over Irena’s family as they posed together for a happy snap
‘I feel like I fit right into the Srbinovska family already. Our first day out here and we are hiking. What more could I ask for,’ he wrote.
This isn’t the first time Locky has met Irena’s parents, as the foursome holidayed together in South Australia last month.
However, this is the first time they’ve spent time together in the Srbinovskas’ home state of Victoria.
History: The former Survivor star was supposed to meet Irena’s family during The Bachelor, but the Srbinovskas couldn’t fly to Sydney because Victoria closed its borders
While filming The Bachelor last year, Locky was unable to meet Irena’s family in person because of Covid-19 border closures.
He didn’t have a chance to see them immediately after filming either, because he was living in Perth.
The new season of The Bachelor will begin production in the coming months.
