Wippa’s wife Lisa Wipfli says she hopes that her daughter Francesca will follow in her footsteps as she discusses her love for fashion and her very chic sustainable wardrobe

She’s the fashionable wife of radio personality Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli.

And almost sixteen months after welcoming daughter Francesca Vera Alice into the world, Lisa Wipfli has revealed that she hopes she will follow in her footsteps.

‘Francesca’s fashion game is not strong,’ she recently told Daily Mail Australia.

‘We pull the little feet straws around and stay in tracksuits most of the day, but that’s because I just want to get her dirty and have fun and play.’

‘Maybe as she gets older,’ she laughed. ‘She’s already showing signs that she’s into the fashion game.’

‘So maybe Francesca will be following in my footsteps, and then I’ve got lots of nice little pieces to give her as she gets older.’

Despite living a life of luxury at their $6.5million Rose Bay mansion, Lisa credits being a ‘bogan at heart’ for her and her husband’s down-to-earth personalities.

‘We both come from very real families,’ she said.

‘I’m a Brissie girl. I’m a bogan at heart. I don’t get caught up in any of those smoke and mirrors and all that silliness and Mike is the same, to be honest with you.’

‘Fashion to me is kind of a sense of expression. I’ve always loved fashion and a bit of creativity,’ she said.

‘I’m one of those people that buys less, but buys nice things,’ she added.

‘I’m all about sustainability rather than the fast fashion and throwing it out, so that’s been something that I’ve focused on.’

Lisa explained that she considers herself lucky to have a nice wardrobe.

‘It’s just one of the things that I love as a woman. Some girls aren’t into it, and then there are girls like me who love it.’
