Jana Kramer and Jay Cutler are no longer seeing one another.
A source told Us Weekly Wednesday that things quietly ended between the actress/country singer, 37, and former NFL quarterback, 38, after a few outings.
‘Jana is still single,’ a source told the outlet. ‘She and Jay went on a few dates, but things seemed to fizzle out between them. They’re not seeing each other anymore.’

An insider told People that ‘they went on a few dates but in the end Jana is still single,’ as ‘they realized they’re better off as friends than dating.’
Kramer, who played Alex Dupre on One Tree Hill, and Cutler had been out last month in South Carolina and in Nashville, at the The Supper Club at the Twelve Thirty Club.
‘While they sat at dinner with a whole group afterward, he was outside talking to a friend and she came up behind him and wrapped her arms around him,’ an insider told the outlet of the Nashville outing. ‘They definitely weren’t hiding that they’re together and they acted like a couple the whole time.’
The outings came after Cutler’s ex Kristin Cavallari was linked last month to country singer Chase Rice.

Looking ahead: Kramer said that ‘it’s hard to love yourself when you’ve been told so many things’ and that she’s trying to remain positive and productive in her personal life
An insider told US that Cutler ‘was trying to make Kristin jealous’ with the romance with Kramer, as ‘it’s not a coincidence that Jay decided to go public with Jana right after news broke that Kristin and Chase Rice are dating.
The insider noted that Cavallari ‘has told friends it isn’t going to work.’
On Tuesday, the Rochester Hills, Michigan native took to Instagram as she hung out with friends Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker.
‘Hi. My name is third wheel,’ Kramer said in the caption. ‘It’s so fun being the single third wheel these days. But seriously love @jessiejamesdecker & @ericdecker and I’ll gladly third wheel with them cause there is no shortage of laughter and wine.’
Speaking with US last week, Kramer said she has ‘respect for everyone’ in the situation and has been focusing on self-care as of late.

‘The relationship with myself is the one that I’m the most focused on right now, because I think that’s just the one that I have to heal the most,’ Kramer said. ‘It’s hard to love yourself when you’ve been told so many things … I think for me, it’s now just [about] doing the work and trying to get better and trying to listen to my gut more and not go back to the same well that tried to poison me.’
Kramer is mother to two children with ex-husband Mike Caussin, 34, Jolie Rae, five, and Jace, two. In April, she parted ways with Caussin, a former NFL tight end for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins, after a five-year marriage. Kramer was previously married to Mike Gambino in 2004, and actor Johnathon Schaech from 2010-2011.
Cutler and Cavallari had split last year following a seven-year marriage, as they’re parents to sons Camden, nine, and Jaxon, seven, and daughter Saylor, five.
