LET YOUR WARDROBE MAKE YOU SMILE

Women have borne the brunt of the pandemic emotionally, economically and sartorially. We stretched summer out for as long as possible and now, even though winter is on its way, we’re not ready to lock ourselves away again to hibernate. Well, I’m not. So, even as the mornings become dark, and the evenings darker still, I’m planning to use my wardrobe to add some shimmering excitement to proceedings.

CHANNEL CHANEL’S SPARKLING OUTFITS

All that glittered took centre stage on the autumn/winter runways with iridescence aplenty. Sparkling, eye-catching outfits shone at fashion houses including Celine, Chanel and Saint Laurent and should reclaim their place as an essential part of your going-out wardrobe for the season ahead.

EVERYDAY EVENT DRESSING

A show -stopping dress is the place to start, so cast off that chunky knit jumper and jeans and slip into something fun, that makes you feel good — like this green Lurex design from Parisian favourite, Maje. The High Street has plenty to choose from. The hologram Ganni design (below) will go beautifully over a simple white shirt and the liquid gold dress from LK Bennett (also below) is perfect for that special event. Let the countdown to Christmas commence!
