Princess Diana’s brother has shared that Althorp House welcomed an adorable new furry addition over the weekend.
The family seat, which is located in Northamptonshire, where the 9th Earl Spencer lives, is now home to Joey, a mischievous Cocker Spaniel puppy who likes to steal slippers.
In an adorable video shared on Twitter by Charles, the 9th Earl Spencer, the sly puppy could be seen wagging his tail around the beautiful stately home with the stolen slipper in his mouth.
Fans went wild for the pup, who clearly stole their hearts as well as his owner’s slippers.

The short clip followed Joey as the pup brazenly wagged his tail around his new house, holding a single slipper in his mouth.
Charles Spencer, who was filming the funny scene, did not intervene as he calmly walked
As the video went on, the puppy eventually reached his bed, where he had already stored two lone slippers.
The video ended with the little thief sitting in his bed with his new trophy in his paws.

‘New puppy pretty pleased with itself for retrieving a third slipper for his growing collection,’ an amused Earl Spencer wrote on social media.
Later, the besotted dog lover shared a picture of slipper-snatching pet, revealing his name was Joey.
The picture was taken by the earl’s friend Reverend Richard Cole, who is the Chancellor of the University of Northampton and Vicar of Finedon.
The adorable puppy sent the earl’s fans into a frenzy as many said he is as adorable as he is mischievous.
