A video showing a simple way to find products quickly at Woolworths has wowed thousands of shoppers who never knew ‘supermarket guides’ existed.

Woolworths employee Liam Kirley, from Sydney, shared a TikTok video explaining that at the end of each aisle lies a store directory outlining where to find each product.

‘Ever noticed these in store?’ the caption read.

‘Here’s a shopping hack to find groceries at Woolworths. At the end of each aisle there are these store directories which tell you where a product family is,’ Liam said in the video and shared a close-up of the directory.

‘If you’re looking for honey, it says that it’s in aisle three. So then go to aisle three, and there’s our honey!’

The handy insight would be perfect when you’re in a rush or buying from a different Woolworths store you’re unfamiliar with.

Alternatively, customers may wish to download the Woolworths app which also details where products can be found after creating a digital shopping list.

While many were already aware of the guides, others were delightfully surprised to hear the hack for the first time.

‘I swear I’ve never seen these before,’ one person wrote.

‘I use those cards quite often – especially now my local Woolies has a new layout,’ another added.

A third added: ‘That’s why I pick Woolies.’

Earlier this month Liam shared another video explaining how you can find out whether your store is busy or not without leaving your home just by looking at the supermarket’s ‘Q Tracker’ online.

Simply enter the postcode or suburb of your preferred store, and the estimated queue time to visit the store will pop up.

The time-saving feature allows shoppers to plan the best times to do their grocery shop and know when the busiest days during the week are.
