Bunnings customer reveals her simple $14 storage solution

Bunnings customer reveals her simple storage solution using a $14 buy – but not everyone is convinced

  • A Bunnings customer has revealed how she keeps her chemicals stored neatly
  • The woman uses a cheap Bunnings spice rack to hold her most used sprays
  • But not everyone was convinced, insisting the loaded racks would cause damage

An organised mum has revealed how she keeps the cupboard under her sink free of chaos using an unlikely $14 product from Bunnings.

The woman, who posts on TikTok under Organised House Boss, uses cheap spice racks to store her cleaning chemicals.

The mum proudly showed off the space under her sink which included two of the racks sitting on the inside of the cupboard door.

Each rack was loaded with her cleaning and household essentials including insect repellant, air freshener and general cleaners.

But not everyone was left happy with the recommendation.

‘Nice, I went ahead. Now the door won’t close but I can find my detergent easily,’ one unhappy viewer said.

The critical comment didn’t rattle the content creator who quickly offered a solution.

‘This happened to me too at first! The nozzles of the spray bottles need to be facing to the side, not forwards,’ she said.

Others said the spray bottles would prove too heavy for the door and ‘add stress to the hinges’.

‘I will pass, I don’t want to be changing my doors every few years,’ one woman said.

The mum screwed the spice rack in so it would support the weight of her cleaning products.

This appeared to upset even more people.

‘Tell me you don’t live in a rental without telling me you don’t live in a rental,’ one snarked.

But others were impressed, labelling the cheap hack as ‘genius’ and thanking the woman for sharing.

‘This is so perfect,’ one woman said.

While another said the tip could come in ‘pretty handy’ for a variety of cupboards in her home.

‘This is the first useful hack I have seen in years,’ one man said.

The woman has a large filter which takes up much of the space in the cupboard and makes organising the space a necessity.
