Greggs has revealed its festive menu for Christmas 2021 and delighted fans by announcing when the beloved festive bake is returning to the shelves.
The festive menu will be available from today in Gregg’s stores across the country, but fans will have to wait another two weeks to get their hands on their cult Christmas classic Festive bake, which will also be available in a vegan version for the first time this year from 22 November.
On this year’s Christmas menu, Greggs is also offering a Pigs Under Blankets Baguette, Sweet Mince Pies, and Christmas Lunch Soup as well as several festive drinks, all under £4 each.
Meanwhile, Subway is introducing a brie sub this year, and has announced the return of its Tiger Pig Sub, which contains a giant pig in blanket, with the menu available at Subways’ restaurants from tomorrow until December 28.

While waiting for the Festive Bakes’ return at Greggs – and the arrival of its vegan version – fans of the baker will get to try several other festive treats.
The £3.20 Pigs Under Blanket baguette, which contains 571 calories, is also making a come back.
This crispy sandwich contains scrumptious pork sausages with smoked sweetcure bacon, topped with a pork, sage and onion stuffing and garnished with cranberry and port sauce
A hearty £2 Christmas Lunch Soup is also on the menu and promises a cup of Christmas goodness.

Sweet-toothed fan will also get to enjoy several festive drinks, including a Mint Mocha, a Mint Hot Chocolate and a Salted Caramel Latte

it includes diced smoked bacon, pork sausage, chicken, turkey, sage & onion stuffing and vegetables, blended with a mix of herbs and spices.
Sweet-toothed fans will be delighted with Greggs’ Mince Pies, which cost 50p, £1.75 for a pack of six or £3 for two packs.
And festive drinks are also on offer, and fans will get to try a Salted Caramel Latte, and Mint Hot Chocolate and a Mint Mocha, all from £1.95.
But the main event will be in two weeks when Greggs’ Festive Bake returns to the restaurants, alongside a new vegan version.

The original Festive Bake, which launched in 2009 and has since gained a cult following, will be joined by the brand-new Vegan Festive Bake following surging public demand for a vegan-friendly take on the Christmas classic.
The classic Festive Bake is filled with delicious pieces of chicken, sage & onion stuffing and sweetcure bacon, smothered in a creamy sage & cranberry sauce and encased in delicious crumb topped pastry.
Taking inspiration from the original masterpiece, the vegan-friendly version is filled with Quorn™ mycoprotein pieces, sage & onion stuffing and a vegan bacon crumb, finished with a mouth-watering sage & cranberry sauce encased in delicious puff pastry.
Both treats are £1.60 and will be available nationwide from Monday 22 November
Meanwhile, Subway has announced that its Christmas menu will be available from tomorrow, Wednesday 10 November, until December 28.

Snack-wise, Subway will one again be selling pigs in blankets pots, paired with Heinz tomato ketchup, as well as a Chocolate Orange Cookie, which will be available by itself or in boxes of 12.
To mark the return of the Tiger Pig Sub, Subway will be giving away free pair of limited-edition Subway Tiger Pig socks to clients who purchase anything from the festive menu on December 3 and 4 in selected restaurants.
