Trump made her visit known by tweeting out several photos from the visit from her Melania Trump Twitter account, which is still active despite her husband’s ban from the social medial platform.

‘This #Thanksgiving I want to express my gratitude to the families who open their hearts & homes to foster children & to those who serve in the child welfare community,’ the tweet said. ‘Thank you 4KIDS for working tirelessly to ensure the health & safety of these children.’

She concluded the tweet using the hashtag #BeBest, which was her White House initiative that focused on the well-being of young people, as she took on issues such as vaping and cyber-bullying.

The visit was timed for Thursday’s holiday.

‘The visit certainly had a Thanksgiving theme where Mrs. Trump expressed her appreciation and gratitude to the foster parents and 4Kids staff who play such an important role in the child welfare community,’ her spokesperson said.

The spokesperson added that it showed her ‘ever evolving commitment to highlighting the people and organizations who are making a difference in their community and going above and beyond to establish a foundation and provide opportunity to our Nation’s children.’

The pictures show the former first lady surrounded by kids blowing bubbles, immersed in a discussion with adults, and working with crayons and Play-Doh.

‘4KIDS was honored to host Mrs. Trump in our Palm Beach office to share how we are bringing hope, homes, and healing to kids and families,’ Kevin Enders, President and CEO of 4Kids, told DailyMail.com in a statement.

‘Our families and young adults were blessed to share their stories and experiences with her during the visit,’ he continued.

‘We are thankful for how generous Mrs. Trump was with her time and for blessing our guests with gifts for Thanksgiving,’ Enders added.

In recent weeks, the former first lady has stepped out more publicly.

She was the guest of honor at a Log Cabin Republicans gala earlier this month that took place at Mar-a-Lago, where she’s resided since her husband left office in January.

The couple does move north to Trump’s Bedminster resort during the summer months.

Melania Trump also attended the America First Policy Institute fundraiser, which also took place at Mar-a-Lago.
